Recently, on 8th November 2023, Rockstar Games announced the release of the first GTA 6 trailer in early December, and since then, considerable hype has been created around the upcoming Grand Theft Auto. A lot of leaks and rumors have also been coming up, with leakers claiming that they have fresh new information about the game.

It is also important to know that GTA 6 currently does not have an official release date. However, in June 2022, a report was published by Bloomberg, in which Rockstar staff stated that GTA 6 was still at least two years from release, suggesting a release in 2024 or 2025. Let’s go over all of the major content we know that is expected to be in GTA 6.

The information featured in this article is taken from a document called “The GTA VI Document (v1.0)”, which is put together with the help of “extended mapping and r/GTA6 discord communities as well as GTAForums.”

We already know many characters who will be appearing in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title. The primary ones are, of course, our two main protagonists and the Bonnie and Clyde duo, Jason and Lucia.

Lucia is expected to possibly be a hacker, as depicted by the tools she carries. We don’t know much about Jason, however, other than the fact that he is in a relationship with Lucia. Here are all the other characters we know:

Grand Theft Auto 6 will reportedly use an improved version of Rockstar’s game engine called RAGE. The new RAGE version 9 will improve the game massively in terms of game physics, time management, quality of rendering, and artificial intelligence. It is also expected to bring about some changes to the game’s weather, which are as follows:

●The Euphoria is tweaked and can be seen when enemies or players fall and ragdolls.
●Lighting and Skybox systems from Red Dead Redemption 2 could be seen in GTA 6.
●Heavy fog and advanced weather systems would be much more present in GTA 6.

Weapons are a crucial and defining part of any Grand Theft Auto game. The weapon wheel in GTA 6 will be split into Weapons, equipment, and gear, similar to RDR2. Players will also have the ability to hold multiple weapons at the same time. Here is a list of the expected weapons that will be in GTA 6:

Grand Theft Auto games have always included side quests that require the player to collect some items from across the map. GTA 6 will continue this trend of collectibles in the form of Wyman Car Parts and Collectible Hats.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is also expected to feature a ton of open-world activities. These are events that the player can engage in all around the map. GTA 5 and GTA Online also feature such activities, which is why we can confidently expect the sequel to further build upon this.

Here are some of the activities that are expected to be in GTA 6.

●Golf
●Racing
●Fishing
●Robberies
●Deliveries: There are also events in Port Gellhorn called Delivery/pickup warehouse.
●Van shipment: You can see the spawning place of a delivery van near an industrial zone near Port Gellhorn. The area has warning posters, meaning the player needs to be careful when robbing these vans.

Every new GTA comes with a ton of improvements, as well as some brand-new mechanics. GTA 6 is no exception to this, as the game is expected to introduce a ton of new features.

Along with going and walking in cover, the game will also allow the player to fully go prone. Underfire animations have also been found for the game, where the character covers their face when under fire. You will also be able to self-revive after taking a heavy hit, along with a Buddy Ping system, which will most likely be used to communicate between Lucia and Jason.

Money Laundering is expected to be in GTA 6, which will allow players to purchase properties with the intent of laundering money. Your character will also age properly as you progress through the game, thanks to proper hair and facial systems.

Advanced NPC interactions are also expected to be a part of the game, with them having the ability to give full descriptions of players to the police. Icons may also show above NPC’s heads, indicating their fear levels. NPCs may also travel in groups. Speaking of police, when the player is caught, they will be given a small amount of time to make their gateway before the cops arrive. Or you can even choose to surrender to them, the choice is yours.

We might also see an advanced Car Hijacking System in the game. The existence of an immobilizer bypass tells us that hijacking a luxury car might be more complicated, and slimjims could be used for breaking into older or cheaper cars.

The existence of advanced sound systems will allow sounds such as gunshots and police sirens to echo off buildings. Even low sounds, such as walking, will be more precise and crisp. Sound effects will also adjust according to the surroundings, such as in a container; there will be more echoing than waking in the safe house.

A leaked GTA 6 file showed the multiplayer mode where “PL:2/32” was seen on the bottom lift of the screen. While the player cap is thirty players, two slots are for spectating.

This is the same as the GTA online RDR2 Online servers, suggesting that GTA 6 will most likely also have a working Online system in place.
