Tekken 8 Storyline
The story of Tekken 8 kicks off from where Tekken 7 ended. To give you a quick recap, Tekken 7 ended with Kazuya killing his father Heihachi. Six months after the events of Tekken 7 ended, Tekken 8 sets in.
It will revolve around the father-son duo of Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. Kazuya is wreaking havoc over the world with his G Corporation. Meanwhile, Jin has recovered from the coma he was in. He is teaming up with his companions to bring down his father Kazuya. Jin wants to end the chaos from his lineage once and for all.
The most exciting part of this game is the devil gene possessed by both Kazuya and Jin.
While Kazuya seems to have control on his devilish power we will have to play and see whether Jin has learned to control this devil gene or not. Tekken 8 also marks the surprise return of Jin’s mother namely Jun Kazama who had not featured since Tekken 3. Moreover, there is also the emergence of a new character namely Reina who is alleged to be the daughter of Heihachi.
Tekken 8 Official Launch Trailer

The highlight of this trailer is the epic cinematic story mode. You can see a large colosseum where the fights will be in full swing. Kazuya is announcing the entry of the next King of the Iron Fist Tournament. The new character of Reina can be seen walking in the streets of New York.
The trailer showcases that there will be a total of 32 characters in Tekken 8. For players who love multiplayer gaming, an Online Fight Lounge Mode can be seen in the trailer. It comprises a digital arcade world where players roam with their chosen avatars and search for fights and more.
Tekken 8 Gameplay
Tekken 8 gameplay boasts incredible visuals. If you compare it with Tekken 7, the graphics are no doubt a massive upgrade. Tekken 8 symbolizes a more aggressive gameplay which is evident from its trailers.
The mechanics and gameplay of Tekken 8 is more on the fast-paced and hard-hitting side.
The gameplay also features the new heat system. It comprises a blue bar under the health bar of your fighter. When the bar turns purple, the fighter is ready to perform Heat Dashes and Heat Smash which entails severe damage to the opponent.

Tekken 8 Demo
Bandai Namco Studios revealed the Tekken 8 demo on Twitter (X). The demo can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It lets gamers get a feel ahead of the official launch.
The demo features several modes including the first chapters of the story mode, arcade quest, one super ghost battle, versus mode with multiplayer, and a gallery of cut scenes from Tekken to Tekken 7. The demo also features 4 characters namely Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, Nina Williams, and Paul Phoenix.
